So, I assume you’re the subject. Am I wrong? It looks like the skis aren’t coming up from the deep. They’re floating throughout the turn? You can link turn after turn like this?

Hmmm, I’m not completely sure what you mean but yeah? If you’re going really fast you float?

I’m getting older so air isn’t much of a thing any more but I still sure do like going fast.

Is the video taken down? Or, maybe it’s that I’m behind the Great Firewall at the moment.

I’m not sure why it’s doing that. It’s still on YouTube.

The Great Firewall of China.
Seems like that wasn’t it. I’m now in Japan and the same issue. However, if I copy and paste the address into a new browser tab, it plays. So, sumthin’s up with the connection between YouTube and Pugski, at least my device. Now that I’ve watched it,
I still sure do like going fast.
I guess I don’t go fast enough. Will try
You ski fast. I don’t think I’d ever ski as fast as some of that.

Find That Line

Taken today from above Happo-one resort

Can you find that line?

The photo is taken from higher up than last year.
Not a lot higher, but high enough to see the full extent of what’s above the resort. See that photographer in this year’s photo, descending in the afternoon? The ones in last years photo are descending in the morning; must have gone up really early. Next year, weather permitting, I’m going to dump the skis and put on my boot crampons. Turns out the restaurant at the top also provides lodging. I want to head out before sunrise. Anyone want to join me?

More about today soon, in my TR.

This one was hollow.

This is the first time I remember seeing separate pieces of the sculpture; it was all one piece.

Ditto this one.
