OH! That's snow on the bench! Didn't notice that. And, I thought the specks throughout the photo was rain on a window. Looked very artistic to me. Skiing aside, I like the photo; that lonesome tree in the elements.

Had to Google Tip of the Mitt. Michigan! ??

These guys have ground past our house a few times in the last couple of weeks. I don't know where they go, but we live on a very residential, narrow street on a steep hill overlooking town. What they are doing is unclear, but it sounds like Patton's army going by when they come down (or up) the street.

First I thought it was an asphalt ripper, but not sure.....

They are probably resurfacing a road near you. That machine planes the road a few inches deep then they would put down a new top layer of asphalt.

My son Zach is here for a long weekend, we did a morning hike, had lunch and then drove up into the Uintas. It was a beautiful day, lots of snow up there.
