Heh. Hiked with hiking boots/skied with the Langes. I only made it about 3/4 (so half way up the choke?) of the way up d/t the weather rapidly changing. The snow goes all the way down to the lake, I'm assuming there is snow all the way up.

Ironically there is less snow up higher due to prevailing windy conditions

The suncupping doesnt look TOO bad down there in the choke. Weather should be nicer the next day or 2 then rain/snow and freezing conditions might return during the weekend.

Blue Lakes Road Ridge, June 23, 2019

Zooey and I went out for a recon ski mission from where Blue Lakes Road was gated. We hiked the ridge to get a good look at The Nipple, which can be seen in the background.
