Ebbetts Pass, May 28, 2018

Michele and I headed back up to Ebbetts Pass with Makisha and Penny.

The Nipple, June 2, 2018

After finding out that Blue Lakes Road had just opened all the way to Lower Blue Lake, there was easier access and I headed up to the East Ridge of The Nipple.

Carson Pass, June 3, 2018

Makisha and Penny joined me on a scenic recon ski mission on the patch above the Meiss Trailhead at Carson Pass.

The Nipple, June 9, 2018

Saturday, June 9th started a weekend of making turns with friends that I hadn't seen in while.

he Nipple, June 10, 2018

Since the skiing was so good the day before, I returned to The Nipple the next day. Once again, I got got to make turns with a friend that I hadn't seen in a while.

Since The Nipple has so many different exposures and patches to choose from, we skied a couple of different lines than I did the day before.

Roundtop/Sisters, June 16, 2018, One

On this day I joined Casey and Austin for an adventure that included skiing on various areas on Roundtop and Sisters. We started from near Woods Lake and headed up past Winnemucca Lake.

While waiting below I took a run in the Chef Raekwon/Ghostface Killah area. Here is a self-timer photo.

(The snow really wasn't waist deep. The camera angle just made it look like that.)

We traversed and hiked over to the various zones of Sisters next.

We would continue to ascend and descend our way across Sisters with a few traverses thrown in.

I think that we must have skied every good line you can see looking from left to right. Definitely a very full, fun-filled day!

Highland Lakes, Hiram Peak, June 18, 2018

Makisha and Penny joined me on a ski recon mission to Highland Lakes, Hiram Peak.

This was a successful recon mission. We found good snow at a place worth returning to.

The Nipple, June 19, 2018

On this day I was joined by @Philpug
to reach the milestone of his 100th ski day this season. (There is another thread here https://www.pugski.com/threads/my-first-ever-100th-day-of-the-season.10158/#post-249266 with a few other images from the day. You might find that some of the images on this post differ from the other thread.)

A short traverse and a few sidesteps up brought us to our second run.

We took two more runs to get us back near the car.

The smooth creamed corn snow was a fun way to get Philpug his 100th day.

Hiram Peak, Highland Lakes, June 23, 2018

After skiing some of the frontside patches earlier in the week, I returned with Michele, Makisha and Penny to explore some areas around the back bowl of Hiram Peak.

After taking three runs on the back bowl area, we headed back over the ridge to the frontside facing Highland Lakes.

Days like today help Highland Lakes remain high on the to-do again list.

Ebbetts Pass, Dorothy Lake, June 25, 2018

Michele, Makisha, Penny and I returned to one of our favorite places, Dorothy Lake. Dorothy Lake is a short hike above Ebbetts Pass.

Folger Peak, June 27, 2018

While skiing up at Dorothy Lake near Ebbetts Pass two days earlier we had a good view of the Folger Peak area. We noticed that the bowl below the looker's left ridge was still holding enough snow for a nice long run. I headed up with Makisha and Penny.

After two runs from just below the top of the ridge we headed down following a stream that led to a skiable patch of snow below a little waterfall that brought us down to a quick five-minute walk back to the car.

It was nice to cool off and take a relatively long run for the end of June

Dunderberg Peak, June 29, 2018.

Makisha and Penny join us for Kavanaugh Ridge views, skiing Hidden "Glacier" and Jack's "Glacier" along with flowers and doggie glamour shots.

The Nipple, July 2, 2018

Makisha and Penny joined me to start my 177th consecutive month skiing.

After only 20 minutes we were at the top of a snow patch. Here I saw a little snow cave to explore.

Penny joins me for some cool fun on the snow.
