I was recently approached about SkiTalk patches so members could put the logo on stuff they already have.

I got a quote from NOSO, but its a little pricy,
Any thoughts or ideas on this type of thing are welcome.

Would an embroidered patch be better?

I'd totally use patches. Especially since I discovered "badge magic" which makes putting on patches/badges so much easier.

What's the difference between a patch and an embroidered patch?

I only wear patches on packs, bags and hats, so yes, embroidered better.

The ones in the link are printed or silk-screened (which is still printing but nvm).

Think of embroidery as doing plotter-style vector graphics with pre-dyed thread :D

Embroidered patches are like the IKON patch you got in your pack from them.
Noso patches are kind of flat and come with technical fabric sticky on the back. I really don't see them as being an option with the quote I got from them.

Sounds like embroidered would be the way to go.
