Off season in January? ARGH.

Ya.. mid-January in southern Ontario, Canada.

Daughters lessons start this sat.. it'll be a complete ice rink.. and next sat.. who knows if there will even be snow.. They only have a 50cm base right now (20")

It's even too warm to blow snow.. Gonna take a few massive dumps to even get the season started.

ARGH.. Oh to be out west..

Not sure now long this thread will last, but might be longer than the base up where we ski. No climate change yes or no bickering is allowed here but short term ski condition rants usually are. This is above 4.000 feet almost at ski resort elevation. We have a room booked and paid for Sunday night. Was looking much better up there last weekend when we made the reservations. Hope conditions are better for the February trip a little farther north to West Virginia. House up there is already paid for in full. If no snow by then we will take fishing gear instead of ski gear.
