Just posting an update: I have several articles pending Campton, Dartmouth Skiway, McIntyre, Whaleback, Storrs Hill part 2, Bretton Woods, & Mt Eustis (didnt ski but did visit & took pictures). I also have bonus pics & material for the Last Chair pub, NE Ski Museum, Lahoots the oldest ski shop in America, and a few random items such as ice-fishing & maple syrup local style. I have partly lost motivation to write, but also am overloaded as we transition all classes to online platforms. Hope everyone here is well & Ill be back with these articles as soon as I am able

When I posted about Sunapee I wrote about the forestry map located in the summit lodge. I hunted & found several old maps scanned in the Dartmouth archives. Got a cheap blueprint copy at Staples for $2.xx, a piece of 2x2’ MDF board for $5.xx, various hardware for $10.xx and a piece of plexiglass for under $20. I used various paints, Modgepodge, brushes, etc. that I already had on hand. The faux arrow is actually an old art deco era brass curtain rod. I think it came out pretty cool, my goal was to make it look dirty as in it sat forgotten for the past 100 years
