Arcteryx and Patagucci make great stuff if you can find on sale. Other nice durable coats that are a little cheaper (sometimes)

I think FlyLow makes some tough pieces but they don’t fit me, so no personal experience.

Arcteryx. I love the fit also (I am tall). They stand behind their product, they replaced more than one item at no cost or repaired. Outstanding customer service. Currently my primary outfit is all Arcteryx but I have some Mammut and Norrona. Mammut is also very good. Norrona didn’t love. My son uses Flylow that is good at a bit lower price point.

For me the fit is a bit of an issue, brands like Patagonia or Northface typically don’t work—too boxy, more for shorter people...
