One note for the roadie crowd: the new 12-speed 105 mechanical is disc brake only. So if you're running rim brakes your options in the Shimano road world are 11 speeds or fewer.

Speaking of GRX-what is the point in calling something Unstoppable or Un-the-other-thing-I-forgot when 2x 11 speed setup 46/30 to 40t cassette has both lower low end and higher high end gearing?
And then you need new wheels.

Shimano would absolutely kill it if they can just make a 2x setup that can take 46t cassette. No mullets no nothing, just that.

And also I’d come up with a slogan: Let’s leave 1x to people who can’t make proper front derraileurs.
