You are what you think of all day long.

Day after day your thoughts shape you like dripping water shapes rock. Pay attention to what you are habitually thinking about, - are your thoughts serving you well?
For the past 4-5 months or more I have been thinking about skiing everyday. What does that make me?

It's all about the stoke. (From "Step Into Liquid", a comment from somebody that surfs in Lake Michigan.)

A friend sent me this, I do not know who said it but it sounded true.

I am not afraid of tomorrow,... for I have seen yesterday and I truly love today.

This one actually made me think of @Josh Matta
He's no drifter. :thumb:

There are two ways to solve a problem.

One is to change reality.

The other is to change the perception of reality.

Anonymous AFIK, but I'll attribute it to John Crossley who was a mentor when I worked at Apple.

My lacrosse coach gave me a book written as a memoir to Diane Geppi-Aikens, who is a well known coach in the lacrosse world, called "Lucky Every Day: 20 Unforgettable Lessons from a Coach Who Made a Difference". My favorite quote from the book:

"See the humor in a disaster, the beauty in a rainy day, and the potential in a hopeless situation."

I'm fond of noting the Chinese symbol for "crisis" is composed of two symbols, "danger" and "opportunity."

Crisis, that is Mamie's favorite word. :D

Usually that is when she get excited.
What I don't understand is why do I always get the danger part. While she handles the opportunities.

Another coaching quote.....

Each day you either get a little better or a little worse.....you never stay the same. YOU make the choice!
