@High Fives has been proactive in getting grants to build adaptive trails.
There is a new push for putting some in around Reno, most recently at the Sierra Vista Mountain Bike Park close to our house.

Great to see. My local mtb organization is including one or two of these adaptive trails in the next phase buildout of the freeride area we manage.

I'm going to pass the video along to our ED.

Have them take a look at Steve Wentz, from momentum trail concepts.
That is who built these and also built the adaptive trails up by Sky Tavern.

Just saw the video and came here to make sure the video was already posted.
Nice looking flow trail. Love the larger banks.

In the video, Phil mentions some of the trail forks, alternative paths that rejoin later. Would that be due to a jump and it's associated bypass (for non-jumpers like me)?

You're not a non-jumper. You're just an involuntary jumper.

Here's the skinny on ours, up in beautiful Whitefog MT!

Ignore that part about us being one of the top mtb towns. Nothing to see here.

So, they have three different levels of trails. All are wider to accomdate the adaptive cycles. One is a beginner trail, then intermediate, and advanced.
This is a very cool thing to have in our back yard.

I need to get up to Sierra Vista. I haven’t been there since they put the pump track in. That’s pretty sweet.
