Well, I know what we're buying...this makes a lot of resorts within a 5 hour radius accessible to us. Targhee on board (heard about this on Friday) makes it a no-brainer.

The western Canada Mountain Collective Resorts: 2 days each at Sunshine Village, Lake Louise, Panorama, Revelstoke, Sun Peaks, makes for a pretty good skiing terrain and variety ski trip. Fly to Kelowna, or Calgary (or even Vancouver or a regional flight to Kamloops) and then it is a fairly easy drive (Rogers Pass can have closure issues) after a days skiing to the next resort.

For non holiday times reservations are not needed, so staying in place if it is dumping and getting the half price tickets is doable.

A great road trip that's for sure and one that this Aussie and his family will do as soon as we practically can. Dreaming of this Christmas or Easter 2021 but those plans may be stymied by travel restrictions.
Damn you Covid-19.
