I drove up a jeep road to one 'end' of the dashed line last evening.
Ms Moose and a calf (not shown).
Going up!
My front porch.
Red sky at night, sailor's (and hiker's) delight.
Playing with my new (to me) camera.
Finding the dashed line required a bit of bushwhacking as the meadow was fairly wet following our monsoons.
The evidence of bikes.
The entire dashed line follows a contour and was a flume from mining.
Some remnants of the flume.
It was old enough for square nails.
Guyot.
More flume bits and pieces.
I made a lollipop out of this by following the trail that dashed line met at its other end for a while until I got on a second trail that returned to the dashed line somewhere in the middle.
Back at camp.
Because vandals breaking the gate on the left was too easy, it was replaced with the one on the right.
