I agree in general. Now, are you sure the 93 points were for the 2015 vintage? I checked wine.com and they only show a 90 from W. Wong, the guy who used to rate for Bevmo and is a few points over the ratings I tend to trust. His 90 would probably map to Parker 87-88, WS 86-87, and Tanzer 80-85 :)

Anyways, sorry for the bad wine.

Cheers!
How cold was it? I'm not a Conundrum fan, but usually when budget whites don't show well it's a question of a) they sat too long or b) they are not at the right temp for the sugar/acid balance to taste right. To this reader, 2015 and a fogged bottle are both danger signs that a budget white will be on the meh-gah spectrum.

Not sure what rating system this liquor store uses but that was the post on the bin it was displayed and it is a reputable store near my new home. As far as the temp my best guess would be about 38 - 40 degrees and that would be the temp we use for our white wine. I do not know if that is a correct temp for white wine but we are consistent using that temp and have had many good ones.

Perfect summer drink.

Put ice in a glass. Pour 1 part Aperol, to 3 parts prosseco. Aperol on bottom creates a lovely color gradient. Some recipes also call for a splash of soda but I didn’t use any. Garnish with sliced citrus.

I drank a whole bottles worth of prosecco yesterday:huh::eek::rolleyes::D

Yay! A mimosa on steroids! I guess this redefines breakfast of champions! :D

Has anyone else tried Ruth Lewandowski wines? They are too pricey for everyday wines for me at 30-40 a bottle. I usually by “cheap” wines but occasionally “splurge.”

I’m curious to see how others rate this guy. I personally just like the backstory. he moved to Utah for skiing, but still decided to pursue winemaking.

A skier making wine in Utah from Native Portuguese grapes? The guy is living my dream :D (and no, I haven't tried his wines - I am not into whites or Rose's, otherwise, but this is way cool)

Hey @Mendieta , he's got Carignan - in addition to whatever he's doing with the Dolcetto/Barbera/Nebbiolo, that might be too rose for you.

Hmmmm, he's also got Cortese and Arneis. Now I'm not bored.

Pale but captivating. Panzanella salad. Yum.
