I'd probably show up, and cheerfully guide the advanced-ish group.

Fun hoggery only. No training agendas in Moab. Kids goofing around on bikes!

Something about that sign makes me think I'm not ready for Moab.

That sign is at the beginning of slickrock Trail. Moab Has developed a whole bunch of different trail systems in the past decade that are definitely beginner/intermediate oriented. They are fun for all levels and are described in the article posted.

I was briefly in Moab a few years ago and rode the Bar M trails. I would not expect either of you to have much trouble. (There were a couple of walking sections, but that's part of mountain biking IMO.)

Plenty of easier terrain there, you just have to know where it is. That being said, I rode Navajo Rocks last year and found much of it out of my skill set. I'm not very good at traversing slick rock, and it hurts to fall on!

Deadhorse Point trails are a hoot. Mostly ALL rideable with a few small sections on the southwest side that I walked.

I'm a great COO. Somebody else will have to be CEO.

Nah. Plenty for any intermediate. Honest!
