I am currently skiing in a 26.5 dalbello il moro ski boot. I am 5'9 180lbs with 16-17 inch calves. My dorsiflex is not horrible, but is limited. I have increased the ramp angle in my boots to make up for limited ankle mobility. My question is would switching to a shorter bsl help with my problem?
My feet are both right at 27 cm.

I know that increasing the ramp ankle has a negative impact on balance and stability. I believe the il moro came with 4 degrees.

Aren't those calves actually kind of skinny?
