Mid-Atlantic Lake Placid / Whiteface guide and help?

I just got off the phone with a friend that skied Whiteface on this past Saturday and he said they had a lot of snow. Trails that have not been open in a while were open with plenty of coverage. Then he said they ate dinner at a place called The Black Bear and it was good. That was his report and when it comes to restaurants he can be critical, but I trust his judgement.

Snooow we need snow. In NYC is like 60 fuckin' F :rolleyes:

Yesterday I thought WF was GREAT- The clouds were on top until about 11 then brightened up.
Skyward was nice and the right side of Niagara was GLORIOUS Powder!!
Wilmington trail was skiing nicely- the 'corn' line was from about Mid- Station down.

I Hope you have a great day. SKI THE Right Side going down Niagara (trail just below Skyward)
