My son, who is 4 years old now and is skiing for the second season, recently told us that he wants to go to a ski school (I taught him on my own before). I'd say he is pretty athletic (he has been going to gymnastics classes for over a year), he can maintain his balance and ski straight fairly well, but I'd like him to learn how to turn & stop. I've heard turning and stopping might be fairly important, you know. We live in Binghamton and our home mountain is Greek Peak, but I would be willing to consider other mountains within a ~2 hours drive from us. I guess both ski school lessons and private lessons would work as long as price is reasonable. If anyone can recommend a school or a particular instructor, I'd greatly appreciate that.
