I have this exact set up except mine aren't in as good as condition. This is a fine price for the condition to be sure. The MX83 is a fast, smooth, stable ride that is hair-raising on groomers and enjoyable off-poste as well.

So what did the shop do to your skis to justify charging you $100?

That would be their "race tune". They pull back sidewalls, set base bevel and edge angles, etc. They are really good. Many manufactures ship skis to them before putting them in the "tests".
