Has anyone done any "study" of lateral alignment with respect to more or less yielding boot binding, ski interface?
Grip Walk and WTR soles are certainly less stiff than straight plastic boot soles.
Frame bindings/AT are less than "race" bindings. Pin bindings less again. Compliance......
Still we see some great skiing , i.e. big mountain stuff with high consequence.
Are these skiers giving up something in the equipment choice? Are they concerned about canting shims? Should they be?
Does it matter in soft snow? Off the race gates?
