The golden age of skiing for me started with Hot Dog the Movie and ended with Aspen Extreme. Of course the equipment now doesn’t compare, but for “skiing is cool” and industry fun factor, those days were great. Probably didn’t hurt that I worked in a ski shop while going to college and skied for free.
I'm still waiting for Hot Dog 2____didn't Rudi say "we will meet again Harkin Banks in Hot Dog 2"? My golden age was when my skis were gold...Dynastar Course SL in 203, my gosh, that's a super g ski length! As you get older I think the brain locks in at a certain age when you have the least cares and the most fun. The rest of the body just locks up! '79 to '89__ probably the best( ski) years of my life, modern equipment notwithstanding!
