I wonder how my warranty would work if I dumped 3 gallons of bacon grease into my Cummins engine?:roflmao:

Bacon Grease is not certified for compression ignition at this time.
Besides, making a quart of bacon grease is probably more expensive than full synthetic oil. It would be tasty though.

Kudos for the "be prepared" Scout who had a replacement oil pan for the one the animals sabotaged at the campsite.

Castor Bean oil is good lubricant, and it smells good when it burns.....

Just don't drink it.

Back in my poverty days, I'd buy bacon ends. Mostly fat but I'd get enough for dinner. Lots of leftover grease. So I'd mix in some brown sugar, rum (couldn't afford vanilla), oats and freeze the mix. Disgusting cookies but I was hungry enough to really enjoy them. Not that good because I haven't made them since.

Raylube (repackaged used oil) went in the engines, not my tasty bacon grease. No wonder I'm not big on changing oil. There must have been enough bacon grease in the Raylube to keep the engines in good shape.

I wonder how bacon would work as diesel fuel.
