The price is so far beyond anything I have ever heard of, but this could be so cool, and I thought worth sharing because of how it is like a ski boot with a rigid outer frame and removable liner. Supposedly very comfortable. I've paid close to $300 for cycling shoes (that last a decade or so), but I don't see how I could ever make myself buy these. If you have a $15,000 bike though, how could you not?

I like the color. I paid close to $400 for my Specialized S-Works road shoes. If the Mavics are as comfortable as they say, and if I rode more and had $900 to throw around, I'd buy them!

Damn.. I’m not sure I’d spend that much, but luckily Mavic shoes don’t fit me so I’m stuck with Pearl Izumi’s.

If your income is 8 to 9 million per year, a 5 million dollar personal Lear Jet doesn't seem unreasonable.
