How to pull off LEKI trigger grips?

Any luck? Just bent a spark pole and was thinking I might be able to salvage the trigger grips.

The (not LEKI) poles I've cut, I literally boiled the handle in a pot of water for a while to get them off, and slip back on, no ill effect.

I used a little soap and water to remove mine and trim them. Think I may have even wedged the handles in a door to help slip them off.
