Now, with a rocket assisted racket, would the stings break during impact, or would the ball be shredded by the strings? Would be interesting to find out.

Yeah wasted half my lunch watching video. Who knew a golf ball had that much give when struck, found it interesting.

It is interesting how the side of the ball away from the impact collapses in a bit. Oh how I wish I had a high speed camera!

I wonder how long it takes for the vibration to dampen out.

I shot a golf ball once with a 7.62X51. I didn't find much near by. Must have scared the golf ball half to death.

If they're brand new strings, I'm guessing the ball would lose. But if the strings were going to break, they would probably break where they contact the frame.
