Noone in top level racing is doing it for years anymore. There's too many bad side effects that it would be worth, so everyone are either back to irons or ir "machines".

Thanks, That's what I thought. All my fellow Night league racer are still cooking their skis. They are all wondering why their skis are delaminating prematurely. I see some stores are still offering the service.
Infrared still generates heat, no?

I hot box with my skis every morning before my first run, I think we may be talking about two different things though...
As for wax, this is not a common practice anymore.
