I love base or mid layers that have an integrated hood, so i don't have to carry a neck warmer and or balaclava (and lose them). However almost all of the ones I've tried have a very large hood and tend to flop around blocking peripheral vision and are not tight enough to me warm or warmish....see eg the Great Patagonia R1 hoody.
Does anyone one know of a version with a decent tighter fitting hood? I have a normal sized head so i can't be the only one with this issue...... here is an example of a more climbing oriented version, which is great , but almost always sold out....
