Help Stretching shell of Hawx Ultra XTD

Hi bootfitters,

I love my Hawx touring boots but they are a little tight over the instep...for reference my foot measures 28 cm and 28 cm obliquely over the instep. I can heat the Memory Fit shells easily to 117 C no problem.

What I am wondering is if I place a flat spacer beneath the liner and wrap some boot-fitters rubber foam broadly over the instep, and buckle tightly....will that stretch the shell in the mid-foot?

Or how else can I get this done...the liners are already baked out to maximum thinness over the instep.
