Welcome!

SW PA and Snowshoe is your home mountain? That's quite a drive... I would have thought 7 Springs. I grew up in western PA myself, just east of Pittsburgh. Somehow, I've never been to Snowshoe, despite skiing Timberline and/or Canaan Valley a few times.

I assume you're also a Steelers fan? There's quite a few of us on here if you are. :) https://www.pugski.com/threads/steelers.2880/

Hi Nik, I'm also a Western PA resident but north of Pittsburgh. My home hill is Laurel Mountain, small but tall (comparatively speaking) and the steepest slope in Western PA. (open from first day of the season to the last) I also ski 7 Springs and Blue Knob. A good way to meet some local Pugskiers is to attend our Mid-Atlantic Gathering Feb. 1-4. Details here: https://www.pugski.com/threads/mid-atlantic-gathering-in-western-pa-feb-1-4-2019.12085/. If you're interested in trying Laurel you can always drop me a PM. I can also meet at 7 Springs weekdays or Sundays.
