Looking for a frontside short radius ski and I've found good pricing on the 18/19 iRally with both 170 and 177 available. I've never skied it but on paper it seems to be what I'm looking for. Wondering if anyone can comment on any changes in character between the two lengths.

About me:
5'10" 185lb 55yrs, very good level of fitness, bald

my skis:
Atomic Vantage 90 CTI - 176
Stockli Stormrider 88 (2015) - 177
Nordica NRGY80 - 177

Thanks

With what you have in your quiver and (assuming) you want the iRally for the purpose it was designed for, I would definately lean to the 170.

I own a Head Rally in a 170 and it is a fun ski. At your size, age and weight the 170 is your best bet. Just as a comparison I am older, taller and heaver then you and the 170 has been such a pleasure to ski. It does live up to the advertisement as a hard snow front side carver. I have skied it in the North East on a variety of conditions without a disappointment. Good luck and enjoy.

I am 6’ 1” 225 lbs. and have the 90 CTI in 184. My Rally’s are 177. You would be spot on with the 170.

Almost added that the "very good level of fitness" is according to my arthritis guy. Getting old is not for sissies.
I know what you mean about getting old, but I still ski the Rally 170 and it's lots of fun to ski.
