A bluebird day and a confluence of two skiers each hundreds or thousands of kilometers from home brought SSV to its knees today. @GregK and I did innumerable hot laps of a super sunny Great Divide. We rode every chair and skied fresh groomers and enjoyed soft bumps padded by the 15cm of powder yesterday.

Greg and I have exchanged a LOT of gear and ski messages over the last year here at SkiTalk or so and it was great to meet in person. Not only did he push my boundaries a little bit (I was in good headspace and was in a good place to tackle terrain more aggressively, including some glades and steeper terrain with less hesitation), he helped me get better centered and to continue my work on getting out of the back seat :) We definitely discussed EVERY model of ski on the chairs up as well. I will be sure to post the picture of the skis. The day started riding up the gondola with a random guy and Greg fixing the guy's bindings 30 seconds after getting off at the top. Only went uphill (and then downhill, slidy-style) from there!

Overall an amazing day with a new friend and/or business associate. Thanks, @GregK , for a great day, great company, and all your ski and ski accessory savvy!

Fine, I'll post some irrelevancies that aren't pictures of skis

I would have been very disappointed if there had been no Faction skis in that pic...
I'm on Unleashed 98s which were a GregK recommendation, and I love them! (He recommended them in direct comparison to the Faction 1.0s though)

Responsible for the Enforcer 110, Unleashed 98 and the Volkl Racetiger SC. I’m not just a one trick pony ski recommender ya know! Haha

Was great to meet @Yepow in person too and was super excited to see the dramatic improvement in his skiing from some simple stance and weighting tips. Could see things clicking within a run or two!
Will be interesting to hear what you think of the other skis in the quiver now with the improved techniques.

It's true! I am excited to get back on those enforcers, particularly since I found a note from last April saying how great they were when one got forward (read: centered) on them!

Yepow, making his way from extremely back seat to almost centred in just 1 short year!

I really think I will appreciate the all mountain shape and mustache rocker of the enforcer

@Yepow Funny story to start the day at Lake Louise. I sitting down in the chalet putting on my boots and a guy asks if he can do the same on an empty seat across from me. Didn’t really look at him but then he says “Hey, aren’t you the guy who adjusted my bindings at Sunshine yesterday?” And I looked up and said “yes I did!!”
lol
