Grew up skiing Mammoth in the 70's after we moved to CA, before that the big news was Dad taking me from Chicago to Snowmass on the train in 1968. First ever at Davos Mt. (Big Vanilla) Woodridge, NY. I sure wouldn't be doing this now if it weren't for shaped skis. Now mostly Steamboat / Front Range, other Rockies, and backcountry stuff. So blessed to have grown up in a golden age of skiing and continual improvements in equipment and technique!
