Have you examined Bob Barns's Complete Encyclopedia of Skiing?

There's good news and bad news. The bad news is that it appears to be out of print. The good news is that there are 10 used copies on Amazon for $61.

@Bob Barnes, is Ascendigo taking too much time, or might you be working on a new edition?

I have the electronic version (if I can find it). Bob started a video version, but it is not finished. Some of them were on the PSIA RM site as references, but I don't think they are anymore .

Yes I do. When I first got the e-version I printed it out and put it in a ring binder which I used for a few years.
Now I simply use the e-version on my computer.
I wish Bob would get a new edition done.

But it's not the type of book that I've been talking about in this thread.
