I wrote a program to generate binding templates for a given BSL. I hope others may find it useful.
You still have to join two pieces of paper together, but I find these are more accurate and easier to align to the ski than others.
I've had success using these to mount several pairs of Pivots and Shifts and a one or two SPXs and Squires. And I just added Look's R22 racing plate lifted from my Rossignol FIS SL.
If you are going to give it a shot, be sure to practise on a few 2x4s before drilling into the real thing.
