Anyone tried these on yet? I'm a little intrigued.

I own a pair of them, they are amazingly comfortable! its a minor thing in life but they make for good driving shoes after skiing.

Not those, but I have a pair of the Feathered Friends down booties and I'm obsessed. They're great for ski trips in the van and hut trips. I like that mine fold flat and have a down "sock"/pertex "shoe" - it's nice for mountaineering trips and multiday ski tours where packability matters and I can keep the "sock" on for sleeping. But I'd definitely go with something like these (or the EB camp bootie or NF Thermoball bootie) if that wasn't a consideration. There are definitely times I wish I had a thicker sole for traction & to keep the bottoms of my feet warmer.
