Well it’s Friday and it’s 5:00 so must be cocktail hour. Today is a windy cloudy day in paradise so I decided to brighten things up with a Boulevardier. 1 1/2 oz 101 Wild Turkey, 1 oz each Campari and Martini and Rossi sweet vermouth.

add angastura bitters

substitute whiskey for the SIA Demo Days beverage of choice.

A slightly more artistic dash of bitters.

I thought the harpoon needed some citrusy flavor, the fresca was sitting there so...
on purpose.

Necessity is the mother of invention. Alcohol supply is low in the household. I had some old, never opened Japanese Plum Wine that was a gift and I had been carrying it around in my boot bag half the winter for emergencies. I recently cracked it open and it tasted like sour prune juice, but with a kick. I mixed it with some lime flavored sparkling water and ice. After a bit of yardwork - it'll do Babe. It'll do.

Boozy popsicles are the ultimate adult treat for summer! These homemade pops pack a punch of flavor with pineapple, lemon, and Brandy. They only take 5 minutes to prepare, then you just have to wait patiently for them to freeze. Best enjoyed on the patio or poolside!

Ingredients
• 3/4 cup Pisco (or Brandy of your choice)
• 2 cups pineapple juice
• 1 pound fresh pineapple, peeled and puréed
• 1/4 cup sugar or cane syrup
• 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice

Directions
Step 1
Place all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth.
Step 2
Pour into popsicle molds and place in the freezer.
