To me, there is nothing better than a Friday afternoon cocktail. Today I wanted a Tipperary, but alas, no Irish Whisky. So I improvised and made it with Rye instead. Lets call it "It's a long way to Tipperary".

1 1/2 oz Rye
1 oz Sweet Vermouth
1/2 oz Green Chartruese
2 dashes Angostura Bitters

Mix in shaker with ice and stir for 30 seconds, pour into chilled cocktail glass. Chill, the world just got better.

With In-laws coming for a visit, I needed a quick shot of patients.

Last of the "card, board, o" Pinot Grisgio....Getting cooler, so red wine season coming up.

If I had to wait for a particular season to drink red wine, I'd moving very frequently.

Well, no, but hot summer weather makes for cool whites. But filet mignon only gets a red bordeaux. A true red bordeaux...

Pics or it didn't happen. I want specifics! :)
