So, I have been feeling like I have too much forward lean in my boots. I have relatively long legs (esp tibia), and I felt that in order to lean into the tongue of the boot I had to be either crouched really low or looking down at the tips of my skis.
Today, while drying out liners I found this: (see pic).
The boot is Cochise 120 Dyn.
I had gone to a boot fitter saying I needed a tiny bit more width in one foot. Never talked to the guy himself, just one of the shop guys. He took the boots, seems to have widened them a bit and added inserts around cuff and this heel lift. Pretty crazy, huh? I am going to try skiing w/o these and see what changes.
