I was reading about how sometimes bad wiper blade performance isn't due to the wipers themselves, but worn out tension in the wiper blade arms. And that the biggest contributor to killing the tension springs is flipping the windshield wipers up and leaving them there. Like so many skiers do in the base area parking lots.
I used to think this was such a smart idea. Now, I'm not so sure. I replace wiper blades at least once a year, and have a couple of older vehicles that need them more often than that. Thoughts on this?
