FKS/Pivot Heel Mounting Tips -

Pretty self-explanatory - I have a jig, so that's pretty easy - but those heels seem to always be a PIA to get screwed in. Is there some sorcery involved to getting those in without taking apart the brake mechanics?

Toes = no problem.

Screw in front heel screws first. Hold down brake with left hand to reveal the back screws...and drill in back heel screws with right hand. Hand tighten to finish.

I set the ski on a short piece of 2x4 wood to lift the brakes off the bench and allow the heel piece to lay flat on the ski.

Both of those comments. I like to use the blocks of wood trick for every binding I mount, makes it so much easier.
