I purchased a pair of Fischer Travers boots. I was curious what these pieces are for that came with it. None of my other boots came with anything like this. I am bringing them to a boot fitter in a few weeks
but I was just curious in the mean time. Thank you in advance!

The spoilers are wedges that can tilt you forward if that's what you need to feel balanced. We all have different body geometry...short legs & long body, or vice versa, skinny calves or big calves, etc. With the velco you can find the position you like for the amount of forward lean that balances you, or none at all. If you have skinny calves you might like these. If you have big calves you come with your own spoilers. Don't take anyone's word for what you need. Try them and see if you feel more balanced or unbalanced forward & back.
