Fischer RC4 Length

Some guy is selling a set of 5 or 6 year old RC4 in 178 cm. Over the years with other skis I've gone from 188 to 185 to 183, but am also 10 pounds lighter at 175, 6 feet. It's a good price so would 178 be fine but maybe not as much of a blast as the next size up?

"Selling an RC4" is like "selling a chevy". Is it a Corvette, a '96 Impalla SS, or an 86 Chevette? Need to know if the RC4 is SL, SC, RC, GS, etc.

FYI, those are over ten years old.

For $75 I'm still interested but I would have to drive to Cambridge which takes about 45 minutes with usual weekend traffic. They guy either doesn't know what he's doing or purposefully didn't show the bases and edges.

If they have some life left they would be an upgrade from my 20 year old volkl p50s which are on their last legs.But those are 188 so I don't want to go too wussy for my ice skis. There are some good deals here in the garage but I need to spend real money on new boots soon.
