I once won a race on my first day on skis. I beat the pace-setter at a major Colorado resort. Never skied that well the rest of the season. Go figure.

Funny when you forget those bad habits at the beginning of the season.

So then it all went downhill. !

I tried summer grass skiing once at Bryce, VA. Entered the race (Grasstar- like Nastar?) Got a silver medal,
never did grass skiing again ! U fall U bust da ass

Lots of laps on beginner terrain today, running drills. Very satisfying.
