Hmmm.... Mine's a Smith (Variance) and I can close the vents completely.
Not on the Variant Brim, nor this Vantage.

Note the 3 thin dark spots. Those are perma vents.

Mine is s Giro with vents. It’s warm as toast with the vents closed. Ibski with them open 99% of the time.

@James you made me go look at mine. There are 2 small "perma-vents" but in the back. I've never noticed them. Note my helmet doesn't have removable ear flaps... not sure if that matters or not.

There are the two perma-vents on the back (well, 2 on each side, 4 altogether).

Which Giro? Are the vents closed with a lever, or plugs from the inside?
