You ain't whistling Dixie. We had a stretch of 10 days where the heat index was over 98 or maybe even 100. Death Valley Days.

I know - we had some days when the actual temp was 100 and the heat index was 110 to 115 -- horrible!

I was driving home one night and both lanes of the street buckled up about 12".
