Sumitomo announces a recall for Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires – Rubber World – The Technical Service Magazine for the Rubber Industry

Washington, DC – Sumitomo Rubber USA, LLC (Sumitomo) is recalling certain Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires with size 265/70R17 115T . The recall is due to a manufacturing defect that could cause the tires to fail, increasing the risk of a crash. The recall also includes Wildpeak HT02 tires with size LT235/85R16 120/116S. The affected tires were manufactured between June 1, 2022, and September 30, 2022. If you have these tires, please contact Sumitomo Rubber USA, LLC at 1-800-723-2553 for more information on how to get them replaced.

Thanks for the heads up. I just bought some Falken Wildpeak AT3s for my Tacoma. I'll have to check exact specs and dates of mfg.
