HI All,

Have a pair of really fun all mountain skis in excellent condition with less than 10 days of skiing and no real damage to speak of.

+185cm Cassiar 87 - Foundation (w/ Titanal laminates) - SOLD

These skis all have a little twin on them. I would call them more like a 180cm in actual snow feel.
The Titanal skis are metal construction, weight about 85g per ski more and have a super nice silky ride of bad snow.
These were engineering test skis, that I bought when I worked for DPS.
All ski amazingly well. Slightly stiffer and more responsive than stock, which skew a little more finesse.

Please ping me with any questions.
Marshal

I'm waiting for the Wombat. More my speed. They have a Joey on the way too. Can't want to see that one.

This is a killer deal on these skis. We have a C87 in our demo fleet and it is a damn fun ski. Plus you are not getting production graphics on these, so you will have the only pairs. Extra cool.

Yeah pretty cool. Have metal!
Which is the all red?
I'd go for a pair but I just got an Alchemist W 99
@surfsnowgirl , maybe the 87 for your SO? A unique ski. What's his bsl?

His BSL is 303 but he's not a big buy so I think the 185 length is long for him. His powder/spring slush skis are 180 and I'm pretty sure that's as long as he wants to go.

@Philpug — curious how you would rate the 185 Cassiars length wise. To me the 185 is much more like a 180 blizzard, and not like a 187cm. Is that fair in your mind?

Trade both for some SR95's? :)

I have some attack demos around that would pop right into the exiting holes.

Where would these fall between the foundation and alchemist layups?

Pm sent :)
The metal laminate is definitely a smoother, damper feel than foundation, more precise and crisp on edge. I believe they are only 85g per ski heavier, but smooth things out a little better. The alchemist is a more responsive and lively ski. The metal version has similar edge grip to carbon, but less rebound and a more muted ride.

Hope that helps!

I agree, these run short with the elongated tip and a bit of rise in the tail. If you ski a 180ish is your go to size...a 185 in these are the ticket.

Hi!
Have a look at my and Phil’s comment above. Really no pressure, just FWIW, they really ski like 180s. I am actually selling to get a proper 185cm.
Hope that is helpful in some way.
