Do I need to get this P-Tex fix redone?

The holes were caused by air bubbles in the molten P-Tex. This happens when the candle is held too far from the ski and the plastic is contaminated with soot. Keep the candle as close to the ski as possible to eliminate this problem and your repairs will be nice and smooth.

^Yup. Remember blue flame only. Yellow, red, orange = soot.
