“We have been working diligently to offer a summer experience on the mountain this year and altering our operations to comply with all COVID-19 safety standards and guidelines” said Deer Valley President and COO Todd Shallan. “Although operations will look a bit different than in years past, we are very much looking forward to opening the resort once again and welcoming guests back to Deer Valley.”

The health, safety and well-being of our Deer Valley guests, staff and community continue to be of the utmost importance to us. Because of this, we have extensively revised our summer operating plans in each of our resort areas to strictly adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines from the Center for Disease Control (CDC), The Utah Department of Health and the Summit County Health Department. Due to the health orders issued by the State of Utah, the Summit County Council, Manager and Board of Health around mass gatherings and events, as well as concern for the overall health and safety of our community, Deer Valley has made the difficult decision to not provide some of our annual summer offerings including concerts in our Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater and Summer Adventure Camp.

We will continue to monitor evolving COVID-19 procedures and guidelines and take all necessary precautions to comply, including making changes to our summer operations plan if necessary.

For more information about Deer Valley’s 2020 summer operations, including the most up-to-date information regarding any changes, please visit deervalley.com or contact the resort’s Sr. Communication Manager, Emily Summers at [email protected] or 435-645-6522.
