Day 1 vs Day 20 of Skiing

Finally started learning how to ski this season. Put skis on for the first time and took a 2 hour beginner lesson on Jan 15, 2023 and haven't looked back. I've skied 20 days on mountain since then and I'm excited to share my progress!

Before every ski weekend, I would watch a lot of ski tutorial videos on YouTube and then I would go out and record myself or have my friends record me skiing. I would rewatch the footage and identify instances of bad form and make a mental list of things I'd want to improve up the next time out.

Thanks! I've skied at Stratton, Stowe, Loon, Sunapee, Wachusett, and Pats Peak. Mostly Stratton though.

So I've had the 2 hour first timer lesson on Day 1 and also took a 3 hour advanced beginner lesson at Deer Valley on Day 5. The rest has been self teaching and Youtube instruction.
